No face, no name, and no voice of his own, only the endless burden of remembrance.

Known only as The Archivist, this hooded figure is the eternal keeper of humanity's emotional residue. Every joy, every sorrow, every triumph, every regret leaves an imprint upon the fabric of existence. While civilizations rise and fall, stars are born and die, and forgotten worlds disappear into silence, nothing is ever truly lost to him.

His collection spans the entirety of human history and beyond. From the final hopes of lost civilizations to whispers carried through impossible distances, from abandoned prayers to mysterious signals echoing from the unknown, every fragment of feeling is preserved within his endless archive.

The Archivist is not immortal. He is simply the current bearer of an ancient responsibility. Every five hundred years, the mantle passes to another chosen keeper, who inherits the memories, burdens, and countless echoes gathered by those who came before. The previous Archivist fades into the archive itself, becoming another chapter in the story they once recorded.

He does not judge. He does not interfere. He only witnesses.

For as long as emotion exists, there will always be an Archivist, silently collecting the echoes that prove we were here.
