Composer, Engineer

Where do I begin?
As early as I can remember, music, in some form or another, has been a part of my life. From the static
filled AM radio of the late 60’s and early 70’s to the distortion drenched power chords of the many rock
and metal bands I had become enamored with over the past 5 decades. Throw in the beautiful strings of Vivaldi, the verbal acrobats of early rap & hip-hop, then top it off with some cool jazz and you have a
dynamic soundtrack for one’s life. Of course, it’s a little bit more nuanced than this but, you get the picture.
I tried my hand at singing with a couple different bands, but, in 1991, I was introduced to the world of
audio engineering when one of the drummers I was working with came to practice with a 4-track cassette
recorder. Fascinated with this machine I began to learn more and more about Audio recording and mixing.
I recorded a couple demos on it. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to transfer those songs to computer and do a proper mix down with the equipment I have today.
I finally received my audio engineering certificates in 2007 and since then I have been advancing my skills
with each new song we produce.
It’s kind of funny how I learned recording on analog gear, and now, after making the leap into the digital
world, I have been learning new and interesting ways to make our recordings sound more analog. LOL.
Such is the world.
The Archivist
No face, no name, and no voice of his own, only the endless burden of remembrance.
Known only as The Archivist, this hooded figure is the eternal keeper of humanity's emotional residue. Every joy, every sorrow, every triumph, every regret leaves an imprint upon the fabric of existence. While civilizations rise and fall, stars are born and die, and forgotten worlds disappear into silence, nothing is ever truly lost to him.
His collection spans the entirety of human history and beyond. From the final hopes of lost civilizations to whispers carried through impossible distances, from abandoned prayers to mysterious signals echoing from the unknown, every fragment of feeling is preserved within his endless archive.
The Archivist is not immortal. He is simply the current bearer of an ancient responsibility. Every five hundred years, the mantle passes to another chosen keeper, who inherits the memories, burdens, and countless echoes gathered by those who came before. The previous Archivist fades into the archive itself, becoming another chapter in the story they once recorded.
He does not judge. He does not interfere. He only witnesses.
For as long as emotion exists, there will always be an Archivist, silently collecting the echoes that prove we were here.

Let's face it, the 70's was an awesome decade for music. Some say, the best. From Rock to Funk and Soul to Pop and movie scores. I grew up around music almost 24/7. My mom was a big fan of the likes of Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, Liberace and other greats. My father was an amateur musician in his youth, played the accordion and was a big fan of Polkas. My 3 brothers were all into different styles of music (mainly rock oriented) which helped shape my interests in other genres. The movies and TV shows of that era had great themes and scores as well. Star Wars, Disney Movies, Hogans Hero's, SWAT, CHiPs, The Munster's, Gilligan's Island. Even the Classical music on Looney Tunes! I can sit here all day, you get the point. Catchy music everywhere you went. It was awesome!
Being the youngest, I really owe it all to my family and Hollywood for helping shape my wide ranging musical tastes. My eldest brother learned guitar as did the third eldest which eventually formed a band and actually recorded a few songs professionally in a studio. I though that was just the coolest thing and said to myself "I wanna do that someday". I caught the bug early on as well and started to learn guitar at an early age. I later joined/formed a few bands myself and my cohort in The Veshkram Initiative was always by my side. Being friends for well over 40 years, John and I have been blessed to have jammed and create with a lot of people. Strangers, friends, close friends and family. We have a huge musical history together and it's no different now in 2025. Still together, we are paving yet another new road with Electronic music. Composing, playing, mixing and mastering all our own stuff. We still write, record and release new music with our other band, March to Glory which is Rock oriented. Additionally we continue to work on building a small record company (Music Community) to house our projects as well as other musicians we know. We thought, why not help others live there dream since we have the outlet to do so. We are truly grateful to have each other and still very much share the passion that is music. We hope to gain sync opportunities in the future as we continue to build our catalog.
Don't let your dreams fall by the waist side. Follow them!!
